Mariposa Point of Gilbert is an assisted living and memory care facility serving 90 residents. Located in the Val Vista Medical Area anchored by Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, the 5-acre site will provide additional facilities to serve residents within the Town in need of such care. The one-story facility design provides several amenities unique to the needs of the residents, such as accessible living units, multi-purpose activity rooms, and interior courtyards. Bowman provided land planning services, rezoning, design review, surveying and civil improvement design. The project site required design of on-site retention, half-street improvements along Quartz Street and Willis Road, and substantial coordination with public utility providers SRP, Southwest Gas and RWCD. Bowman continues to provide construction support through site meetings, continued response to contractor Requests for Information, and site survey support. This project is the first of several assisted living facilities in which Dallas-based developer McFarlin Group has contracted with Bowman to assist in developing in four cities across the Valley of the Sun.
