Bowman Consulting provided overall surveying and civil engineering design services to this new, expansive mixed-use town center project. A preliminary plan, all final site development plans, including stormwater management, storm drain and paving, utilities, grading, traffic control, soil erosion and sediment control, and landscape plans were provided.

An off-site sanitary sewer analysis was provided and determined that deficiencies in the existing downstream system were present. Bowman Consulting’s engineers developed several alternatives to solve deficiencies within the existing system, including the modification of an existing pump station.

Additionally, construction documents for the apartment/commercial component were prepared according to Federal, State, and County design criteria and designed to comply with Fair Housing and Americans with Disabilities Acts. This project was designed and permitted in a fast track manner to support Archstone’s overall project schedule.
