Halstead Towers

Centered in Alexandria, Halstead Towers is a completely unique condominium building. Apart from being a luxury high-rise condominium project -- which sold out in three days -- the building also is home to an innovative green roof system.
Bowman Consulting designed an extensive green roof system for the public plaza area located directly above the building’s parking structure. This system provided the required 40% of open space for the client and made a significant reduction in storm water runoff. Additionally, landscape architecture conceptual designs, as well as survey stake-out and construction documents were performed for the client. Furthermore, Bowman Consulting supplied project management services to coordinate the client’s special use permits (DSUP).
